The Terrace Resort is situated in an upper valley with view to the center of the village of Schonach in a walking distance of app. 1 km. The built in the 70s Terrace Resort is popular with locals as well as with tourists because of its location on the edge of nature and the various leisure facilities.
Behind the Terrace Resort is a beautiful wooded area with marked hiking trails. Even the shell stone path leads through this forest. Popular hiking trails lead to the restaurant and café "Berghüsli", the guesthouse "Wilhelmshöhe" or the hotel "Schöne Aussicht". The neighboring city of Triberg is easily accessible by beautiful hiking trails. A "must" is a nature hike to the high moor lake called "Blindensee", which is located in a nature protection area and accessible via boardwalks.
To the Terrace Resort belongs an indoor heated pool (pool about 6 m x 18 m), sauna, table tennis (indoor and outdoor), table football, playground and tennis court. The use of the indoor pool is free for our guests, sauna for a small fee. Our apartment is located above the indoor pool, which is accessible via the access balcony in a bathrobe. Sufficient changing rooms and showers are naturally available. The outside tennis court can be used for free from May to October. Horseback riding is possible at the adjacent "Beständerhof". In the Terrace Resort public washing machines and dryers can be used for a small fee.
The bakery "Backhäusle" offers a bread delivery service to Terrace Resort on weekdays, so that after a dip in the indoor swimming pool, a delicious breakfast with fresh rolls is guaranteed. A telephone order is already possible before your arrival so that you can be supplied the same day of arrival with fresh bakery products.
